Jules Reynolds joins SHARE team

Dr. Jules Reynolds recently joined the Soil Health Alliance for Research and Engagement (SHARE) as the project coordinator. She’ll lead overall internal coordination for the project and serve as SHARE’s central resource and liaison. This includes overseeing the development of agreements, project summaries, and reporting and facilitating connections with and between internal and external partners.

Reynolds is an interdisciplinary social scientist with a BA in Geography, an MS in Agroecology, and a joint PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies. She has more than a decade of experience in agricultural research, community organization, food-system development, and teaching.

She has worked closely with farming communities in the Willamette Valley of Oregon as well as internationally in Malawi, South Africa, and Latin America.

Most recently – in collaboration with Mount Horeb, Wisconsin-based Brix Cider and area farmers – her work focused on community-based resilience and transformation within south-central Wisconsin’s local food system.
